Hello, my name is Emma Green. I started Peace Through Education after getting my Master's degree in Portland, Oregon. I moved south to lovely New Mexico to be with family and dry out from all the Portland rain and ended up fully welcomed into small-town life and the close-knit community of Raton. After finding inspiration and an outlet everywhere for what I'd just spent so many years studying in Oregon, I knew I needed to stay. I often find myself in awe of the beauty and opportunity around me, saying "who knew? Raton, New Mexico."
 
My vision for Peace Through Education is that it will create a positive impact on schools and communities by teaching restorative practices to educators and community groups who need better ways to navigate everyday conflict in order to get to learn, grow and thrive.
